General

This medium-gauged pack of D'Addario XT-Series banjo strings pull out a clearer, deeper sound than nickel-wound strings and at triple the lifespan. The XTJ1023 strings feature a strengthened tin-plated and high-carbon steel core (also-known-as NY Steel), and both the wound and unwound strings have been treated with a microscopic coating to keep any moisture out without messing with the playing feel. The result is a core that's up to 42% stronger than standard strings; tuning stability that's up to 131% more stable than standard strings; and sound that stays fresh for up to three times longer than standard strings.
