General

Since the transition from a guitar to a banjo can be a touch overwhelming, why not ease the pain with the Ortega OBJE350/6-SBK 6-string banjo. Since it's part of the Raven Series, this is no ordinary banjo. The chrome hardware pops with contrast against the matte black paint-job and satin-gloss lacquer, and the arm-rest has been finished with a delicate Ortega engraving to complete a high-grade instrument with stage-ready looks.

The Ortega OBJE350/6-SBK: Sound

The sound of this 6-string banjo is just as refined as the finish. The tone is full and present while packing all the punch you would want from a great banjo model. A set of pre-installed D’Addario strings resonates the fitted Remo head with excellent balance and, since this is an electro-acoustic banjo, the mounted piezo pickup is activated as soon as a jack cable is connected and delivers faithfully amplified sound. This great instrument comes complete with its own deluxe gig bag.
