Want the sound of a professional bass amplifier and the practicality of a practice amp? Orange's Crush Bass 50 is the best of both worlds. This bass amp combo produces 50 watts of power through a 12-inch speaker and is able to deliver a solid, low tone due to the bass reflex port. A separate drive circuit lets you add the desired amount of overdrive to the clean sound of this amp using the blend and gain controls. The result is a full bass sound, even when you're playing with lots of overdrive and distortion. The drive is also selectable using an optional foot switch (sold separately).

Très bon ampli pour travailler à la maison. Peut être un peu lourd enfin pour moi. Sinon le son est nickel.

Het is een hele fijne, compacte bassversterker met de prachtige Orange looks.
Levert een solide sound voor in kleine oefenruimtes of slaapkamer, mooie oefenversterker.
Een groot pluspunt van deze versterker is de dikke drive die er in zit.

Na een tijdje m'n gewone gitaarversterker gebruikt te hebben voor m'n basgitaar werd het toch tijd om een degelijke versterker aan te schaffen. Ik had al eerder van Orange gehoord en was ook zeer tevreden van de klank dus de keuze voor Orange was al zeer snel gemaakt.

De versterker voelt heel degelijk en stevig aan en hij weegt ook redelijk wat. Het fijne is dat er een ingebouwde tuner aanwezig is (op gigs is het misschien minder interessant maar voor thuisgebruikers is dat wel handig). Versterker klinkt ook zeer zuiver en geeft voldoende volume. Ingebouwde effecten (buiten distortion) zijn er niet, maar dit mis je ook niet. Distortion kan je ook blenden met een zuivere klank waardoor je de diepe bastonen niet hoeft te missen. Ik kan deze versterker alleen maar aanraden voor de beginnende bassist/thuisgebruiker.
