With everything from modern overdrive to vintage-style sounds on board, the 100-watt BOSS Katana 100/212 2x12 guitar amp combo offers ultimate versatility for today's rock guitarists. If you want a clean sound, you can use the acoustic and clean simulators or, if you're looking for something suitable for some serious shredding, try out the crunch and lead sounds. There's even the famous brown sound taken from the renowned Waza amplifier.

Katana 100/212: switchable power and effects

The Katana 100/212 is perfect for use at home, in the studio or on the stage thanks to its switchable power that provides the amp with either 100, 50 or even 0.5 watts. Controls for gain, EQ, and presence allow you to customise your sound to perfection. There are 55 effects on board, of which 15 can be saved on the amp itself. Any of the effects can be tweaked using the free-to-download BOSS Tone Studio Editor software. It's even possible to use up to three effects at the same time to create your own unique sound. How versatile is that?

Katana amplifiers

BOSS Katana amplifiers have been developed along with the top-quality Waza amplifer series. They feature specially-designed circuits that combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative functionality. That gives both beginning and more advanced guitarists a powerful tool to help them find their ultimate guitar sound. The name Katana is derived from a traditional Japanese sword and just like the historic weapon, your sound will cut right through any mix with BOSS Katana amplifiers.
