General
This condenser mic by Beyerdynamic is equipped with the brand's patented clip-on system so you can equip your snare drum, tom or percussion instruments with a microphone for live amplification or recording purposes. Preamplifying the mic signal will be a thing of the past, thanks to the TG D58's integrated preamp. The balanced frequency range makes it possible to use the microphone right away, and without having to rely on EQ or compression. The mic has also been developed to operate at high signal levels due to the newly-developed low-resonance housing and elastic capsule suspension. To top it all off, the signal-to-noise ratio has also been vastly improved, even when you use phantom power under 44 volts.
