General

This condenser mic by Beyerdynamic is equipped with the brand's patented clip-on system so you can equip your snare drum, tom or percussion instruments with a microphone for live amplification or recording purposes. Preamplifying the mic signal will be a thing of the past, thanks to the TG D58's integrated preamp. The balanced frequency range makes it possible to use the microphone right away, and without having to rely on EQ or compression. The mic has also been developed to operate at high signal levels due to the newly-developed low-resonance housing and elastic capsule suspension. To top it all off, the signal-to-noise ratio has also been vastly improved, even when you use phantom power under 44 volts.

Wrote the following about Beyerdynamic TG D58c condenser clip-on microphone

Deze condensatormicrofoon TG D58 van Beyerdynamic is buiten zijn prachtig helder klankweergave voor aan toms en snares, conga ook nog es heel snel te bevestigen, iets wat live optredens voor in cafe en zaal, gig optreden mij toch aller sinds als hobbyist geluidsman het echt wel leuker aangenaam maakt dan bepaalde andere merken met tijdrovende 'opdraai variant klemmen'. Compleet geleverd met opbergtasje en tot op heden nog geen enkel drumstel in mijn verschillende bands gevonden waar deze microfoon niet op bevestigd kon worden, de TG D58 zit ook telkens echt goed stevig vast. Handig is de kleine flexibele hals om snel de microfoon in een gekozen positie te brengen. Topkwaliteit en duurzaamheid van Beyerdynamic microfoons....absoluut 1 van mijn lieveling voorkeuren voor live!
