General

If you're tried of common-looking bronze cymbals, then you're sure to appreciate Paiste's Color Sound 900 series! This is the same range of cymbals as the brand's popular 900 series but with a different-coloured coating on top. This black 16-inch medium ride is made of B8-bronze alloy and then hammered and aligned by hand. This process results in a clear sound with warm undertones that works well with any musical genre!

Color Sound 900

The coloured coating used in Paiste's Color Sound 900 series is applied in such a thin layer, you can still see the hammer marks and grooves clearly. The effect on the tone is minimal, but you can expect a slightly drier sound and a shorter sustain than Paiste's non-coated cymbals, but you'll get a little more attack in return.

We already have Paiste's standard 900 models in stock, but we understand that some people appreciate a bit of extra colour in their lives! Now, your drum set can look as colourful as it sounds. The Color Sound 900 series includes (heavy) crashes, (heavy) rides, heavy/Sound Edge hi-hats, splashes and chinas.
