The Sabian Stratus Crash 16-inch cymbal delivers a unique vintage sound, which at the same time is also quite dark and almost trashy. This may sound like an odd combination, but this allows this crash to work fine within classical music styles like jazz and blues, but at the same time also modern pop and rock styles. The crash is made of a B20 bronze alloy, has a traditional finish and is hammered with the special 'high impact hammering' technique that the Stratus series is known for.
