General
Think of a vintage crash - but in a modern way! Then you're talking about the Sabian Stratus Crash 20-inch crash cymbal. The crash is hugely responsive and explosive, but delivers a very controlled and restrained sound. The crash has a somewhat dark sound, but enough brightness to be usable within modern music styles. The short to medium sustain also helps with this. Whether you want to use this crash for blues, jazz or modern pop, it comes into its own in all these genres. The ride is made of a B20 bronze alloy and has a traditional finish.
