With the 18-inch Sabian Stratus Crash, you get a very versatile crash that has some vintage features, some modern features and, above all, a very cool sound that is all-round usable. The crash is made of a B20 bronze alloy, has a traditional finish and is hammered with the 'high impact hammering' technique. The crash has a somewhat dark sound, but enough clarity to be usable within modern music styles. The short-to-medium sustain also helps with this.
