If you are looking for a solid cymbal set without paying the sky-high price, you will soon end up with Masterwork's Troy Traditional series. This brand has a long tradition of artisan craftsmanship and delivers quality cymbals that are hand-hammered in Turkey.
The cymbals are made of B25 bronze: an alloy with 25% tin known for its full, complex sound. Leaving the top raw gives them a rough, matte look as well as a deep, dark sound that stands out from polished cymbals.
Compared to the Troy Brilliant, this model is built lighter, making it more responsive and, of course, easier to carry around! The set includes everything you need: a 14-inch hi-hat, a 16- and 18-inch crash and a 20-inch ride.
