The Clavinova series of digital pianos by Yamaha keeps getting better! Just when you think it's reached perfection and there's nothing left to improve upon, they release a new version. This CVP601PE is every bit a worthy Clavinova, with deep musical and dynamic refinement. It starts with the exterior, which features a beautiful Polished Ebony finish. This popular piano lacquer finish makes the CVP601PE a beautiful addition to your home or studio, but it doesn't stop there, because the GH3 keyboard with hammer technology and key sensors help a great deal in adding to that authentic piano feel.

Clavinova CVP601PE: worthy home instrument

The keyboard of this Clavinova makes an excellent basis for your musical expression. Yamaha's innovative Real Grand Expression technology includes all of the elements of piano playing from attack to resonance and from pedal positioning to dynamics, and everything works together seamlessly to produce a realistic sound. You have to option to choose from a variety of different piano sounds, and you can even adjust small nuances like the opening of the virtual piano cover and the amount of string resonance. Score and Guide functions are available for beginner pianists, the foremost of which displays sheet music on the large LCD screen and the latter of which lights the way to the correct keys.

Home-band and studio

The Yamaha Clavinova CVP601PE is much more than just a digital piano. With no fewer than 257 lively accompaniment styles and 387 professionally recorded sounds available from strings to guitars and from horns to synthesizers, you're sure to be inspired to let go and create. Additionally, the Music Finder features 1,200 titles with tempos that can be adjusted with the press of a button and played with accompaniment and matching solo sounds. With all of these options, your at-home band is always ready and waiting for you. For pianist/composers, there's also a recording function available so you can save all of your sessions in .WAV format. The Clavinova CVP601PE is a treat for the eyes, ears and hands.

Yamaha Extends Temporary 5-Year Guarantee on Clavinova and Modus

More than a year ago, Yamaha announced they would temporarily be extending the guarantee period of the Clavinova and the Modus models from three to five years. This offer was intended to end on March 31st of 2016, but Yamaha made it known today that they will be extending that offer for another two years. That means you have until march 31st, 2018 to take advantage of a whopping five-year guarantee when you purchase a digital piano from the Yamaha CLP or CVP series, or a Modus F02.
