While there are plenty of digital pianos, each designed to slot seamless into the living room decor, the Korg Poetry goes one step further, adding the grandeur of a castle or cathedral to the mix. While many models will come in an array of different finishes, whether it's a faux-wood or a high-gloss or matte black or white, this model comes in a modest brown with brass accents, harking back to a more classic age and giving this digital piano a vibe that's entirely its own.

The Sound of the Korg Poetry

This piano also comes with its own personality, one that reads like a kind of love-letter to Chopin, especially since this digital piano emulates the sound of an 1843 Pleyel. This may not be a name that everyone is familiar with, but can easily be described as a piano with an immediately sweet character. Chopin was in love with his Pleyel, as was Debussy and, anyone who has had the pleasure of sitting at a real Pleyel will have noticed that it invites a more subtle playing style, one that definitely isn't set up for pop and rock. Besides the sound of a Pleyel, the Poetry also houses the big and impressive sound of an Italian grand, giving you plenty of moods to play with.
