General

Outstanding piano sound and a seamless, realistic playing feel, the Yamaha CLP-865GP brings all the convenience of a digital instrument and wraps it up inside the full acoustic experience of a grand piano. This model essentially houses the same technology as the CLP-845, but features a larger, more impressive body that's been finished in a stylish high gloss. The on-board sound is just as impressive, giving pianists direct access to the sound of a Yamaha CFX and a Bösendorfer Imperial (both priceless concert grands), all in the comfort of their own home. Both piano sounds are binaural, meaning that, when playing with headphones, you're enveloped in spacious 3D sound, while the 256 polyphony supports plenty of range, completing a progressive and professional instrument.
