The Pioneer DDJ-800 is here! This professional 2-channel DJ controller has been specially designed for Rekordbox DJ. It has all of the functions you'd expect packed into a compact, portable housing. If you're familiar with the DDJ-1000, you'll notice that this looks very similar and it has many of the same functions too. That's impressive considering the DDJ-800 has fewer channels and is 22% smaller than its larger sibling. The layout may look familiar too because it's based on the NXS series. That makes it easy to switch between different settings.

DDJ-800: Feedback Reducer and Jogwheel

One of the new features that you can use with the DDJ-800 is the feedback reducer function in Rekordbox DJ. This ensures that a microphone can be used without having to worry about any problems with feedback. The function automatically detects and reduces offending frequencies in real time. The DDJ-800 is also the first 2-channel controller to have a high-resolution display integrated into the jog wheels. This makes it easy to see all sorts of important information like the playing time, the BPM, the waveforms and the cue scope without having to refer to Rekordbox on your laptop. You can even choose to have the track's artwork displayed on the screen.

So Much More..

As well as the look and the layout being familiar, many of the functions may be too. The DDJ-800 has the popular sound color FX and beat FX sections found on the DJM series controllers, for instance. The beat FX section has its own display as well. If a DJ controller is not enough for you, you'll be pleased to know that the DDJ-800 can also be used as an audio mixer. That means you could connect two turntables or play audio from another external device if you like.
