The pro-grade Allen & Heath Xone:23C DJ mixer boasts optimum function as well as form. This mixer doesn't just double as an audio interface able to handle four stereo channels, but bears a comprehensive spec-list to match that of the formidable Xone mixers that came before it. This means that you get a stack of Xone filters, VCA faders, a kill-style EQ, and that classic X-shaped housing thanks to the set of signature side-fitted rack mounts.

The Allen & Heath Xone:23C DJ Mixer

The most prominent feature of the Xone:23C has to be the Voltage Control Filter (VCF). Developed exclusively for the Xone Series, this Allen & Heath innovation gives you the power to add a low-pass and high-pass filter at will, and to create a frequency sweep via an adjustable resonance parameter. Meanwhile, this formidable yet compact mixer sets you up with four inputs that can be switched per pair, an integrated sound card for both recording and playback, and a set of Allen & Heath-grade professional outputs, including master XLR outputs, a booth output, and a solid headphone output.

A Smooth Interface

While packed with functions, the Xone:23C remains fairly smooth and easy in terms of controls. Every button has been backlit for maximum visibility in all lighting conditions, while the general layout of the control panel has been kept clean and uncluttered and the ten-segment VU meter provides a clear level overview. The Xone:23C comes including Mixvibes Cross LE DJ software to support timecode-vinyl integration into your setup.
