Yamaha JSBP2F5HA Stage Custom Birch shell set, Honey Amber

This 5-piece Honey Amber shell set from Yamaha's renowned Stage Custom Birch series consists of a 22-inch bass drum, a 16-inch floor tom, 10 and 12-inch toms and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. The birch shells have excellent sound projection and the larger floor tom and bass drum make this shell set great for rock music.

At 22 inches, the bass drum is slightly larger than standard giving it an impressively deep sound. The 16-inch floor tom is on the larger size too and offers a fuller sound. Typically, this type of setup is known as a rock configuration. The 10 and 12-inch toms can be attached to the bass drum easily thanks to the Y.E.S.S. mounting system.

The bass drum's hardware has been updated with the tension rods now having a layer of rubber to prevent any damage to the shell and prevent unwanted noises for the best possible sound. Of course, you want your kit to stay in place when you're playing enthusiastically too which is why the bass drum is equipped with stoppers. These also make it easier to perfect your setup.
