The Yamaha Manu Katché Junior Kit in Raven Black is a great drum kit for young, growing drummers. That's why it features a 16 x 15" bass drum, 10 x 7" and 12 x 7" toms, a 13 x 12" floor tom and a 12 x 5" snare drum, guaranteeing the various elements are not too high or spread out too far. As such, even short arms will have no problem reaching the far ends of the kit. What's more, its Raven Black lacquer gives the Junior Drum Kit a classy, timeless look.
Yamaha Junior Kit Manu Katché: it grows on you
Noteworthy is the fact that this drum kit can accommodate a growing drummer, as its bass drum and toms can easily be raised up. As such, it's also a great kit for more mature drummers who are looking for a compact gigging kit. It provides a very mature sound with shells that are made of 6 plies of birch for a rich tone and clear articulation. Moreover, it's constructed in such a way that vibrations are contained in the drum shells without bleeding into one another, meaning it's also excellently suited for use in recording sessions.
Stands included
Stands are included with this particular drum kit, and these too take into account its compact sizes. Both the snare drum stand and the hi-hat stand can be set extra low. Furthermore, the two included cymbal stands are telescopic, so you'll always be able to find the perfect height. Finally, when it's on the floor, you can attach the bass drum pedal directly to the bass drum, otherwise, you can clamp it to the included riser.
