General
Roland's TR-09 Rhythm Composer is a compact drum computer module from the Boutique series that was based on the popular and influential 1980s TR-909 drum machine. This version gives you the same sounds and options as the original, and adds modern features like USB. The TR-09 has been given the same vintage layout as the original 909, so if you've ever worked with it, this module will be familiar to you.
Roland TR-09 Rhythm Composer
The TR-909 drum computer had a sound that was unique and instantly recognisable. That was down to its analogue tom, snare and bass drums mixed with 6-bit cymbal samples. Roland's ACB technology now makes it possible to tweak the sound using different parameters. A familiar feature to those who have worked with the TR-909 is the TR-REC recording function that gives you the choice between Step or Tap. Unlike the old version, it's possible to switch between various modes while the current pattern is playing. The TR-09 can be powered via its USB port or by four AA batteries, making it portable too.
Connectors
The TR-09 has a number of connectors on board so that you can use it together with other devices, including other synths from Roland's Boutique series. The main stereo mini jack output allows you to send a selected instrument to the right channel, while other instruments can be sent to the left channel. External audio can be sent to the main outputs via the mix input. Analogue synths like the JX-30 or the SH-101 can be connected using the trigger inputs. Communication with other devices is possible via the USB and MIDI ports. This makes it possible to send audio from four separate devices to your favourite DAW software, for example.

Supersimpel in gebruik, inpluggen, wat basisdingen bekijken en hopla, rammen maar :D
Kan em heel hard aanraden. Jammer dat BPost er een week of twee mee heeft rondgereden, maar kijk, niks waar Bax aan kon doen en ze hielpen me snel verder.

Werkt goed samen met ableton 10.
Ik raad dit product aan.
En voor deze prijs is hij het zeker waard.
Simpel in gebruik mooi strak geluid.
Het geluid viel me meteen op. Dacht eerst dat het geluid een stuk minder zou zijn maar dat is zeer zeker het geval niet.maak je dance/techno raad ik deze zeer zeker aan en een goede straks levering van Bax ook nog wat wil je nog meer klim en koop

Bij mijn exemplaar sluit de ''boutique'' case niet geheel om het apparaat. Er blijft aan de rechter voorkant een ruimte open terwijl het links wel aansluit.
