Best Service faTimeAlign is a small but handy tool that comes in handy if you regularly record with multiple microphones. As you probably know, due to the distances, minute delays occur between microphones, which in practice manifests as phase shifts in the audio. As a result, an audio can be unintentionally amplified or attenuated, and with a bit of bad luck, comb filtering occurs, which is of course not directly intended. The faTimeAlign product knows how to deal with this! With a large rotary knob (and some other settings) you can look for the sweet-spot of a sound. The results can be very decent. With drums, for example, you may get much more body in the kick and snare. This is typically a tool that is in good hands with a recording engineer who often records drums, guitars and other musicians.
