Eventide MangledVerb (DOWNLOAD)

Eventide MangledVerb is a special plug-in, namely in that it combines reverb and distortion. If you use both effects together, it turns a normal voice into something monstrous. Of course, that monstrousness really isn't necessary, you can also just use it as a (good) reverb. But then you might not need this plug-in, but an ordinary reverb from Eventide. MangledVerb is pre-eminently a plug-in for spooky effects - and it works very well. It's all in that overdrive. Just think about it: in the film The Exorcist, the demonic voice is also slightly overdriven, which is apparently an association people have with anything supernaturally scary. So in short. a very special plug-in, and from Eventide, so very good quality.
