General

The IK Multimedia T-RackS Bus Compressor is based on a classic SSL compressor and, compared to the real thing, is actually affordable. This practical plugin can be added to your DAW or run within the free T-RackS CS app. A sidechain HP filter has been added so you can filter low frequencies out of the detection circuit path so that they won't overmodulate compression, preventing the pumping effect at lower threshold and higher ratios. When not engaged, the pumping effect delivered by this plugin is astonishing, making it ideal for both loud rock mixes and slamming dance tracks. The 1.5:1 ratio has been added for subtle and even compression making mixes shine without sounding compressed.
