The Sadowsky Blue Label Bass String Set Nickel Taperwound XL 40-125 is a string set for 5-string, electric bass guitar with a long scale (extra-long scale) and a toploader bridge. The strings have a hexagonal steel core and durable nickel windings, which gives them a warm and natural bass sound that is excellent for pop, soul, jazz and rock. They also have a very smooth and supple feel, which increases playing comfort, especially during extended gigs and practice sessions. The thickest bass string (B) has thinner windings where it crosses the bridge (taperwound). This allows it to vibrate more freely, creating more resonance and thus a fuller sound.

These strings are not suitable for basses where the strings run through the body (string through body).
