The Sadowsky Blue Label Bass String Set Stainless Steel Flatwound Taperwound 40-125 is a string set for 5-string electric bass guitar (note: not suitable for string through body mounting). The strings are stainless steel, with a hexagonal core wire. The windings are flat, so the surface feels smoother and your fingers produce much less side noise than with roundwound strings. The B string is also taperwound, being thinner where it meets the bridge, so the action is not too high and it has more resonance. This string set gives your bass a real vintage bass sound, with deep lows.

These strings are not suitable for basses where the strings run through the body (string through body).
