General

Do you have a 6-string electric bass with a long scale (extra-long scale)? Then this Sadowsky Silver Label Bass String Set Nickel Taperwound XL 32-130 set is for you. The strings have nickel windings around a hexagonal core and give your bass a rich and warm sound with deep basses, a wide midrange and rounded highs that blend well into any mix. The B string is taperwound, making it thinner at the bridge at the contact point. This provides better vibration, more resonance and prevents the string from rising too high above the other strings. This string set is designed for toploader bridges and is not suitable for string-through-body mounting.
