The Duesenberg Alliance Chris Chaney Bass Black Distressed is a limited edition (limited to 10 per year) signature bass by Chris Chaney, the bassist best known for his work with Jane’s Addiction and who now plays with AC/DC. His rhythmic playing style is reflected in this signature Precision bass! The solid alder body provides an open, balanced foundation. And the Grand Duplex Bass pickups deliver a surprisingly clear, transparent tone without sacrificing the low end. Looking at the neck of the Chris Chaney Bass, we see that it is made from maple and features a rosewood fingerboard. This long-scale neck also has a special, thin neck profile, making fast lines and fills a breeze to play.

Duesenberg: finished down to the last detail

Duesenberg understands that details matter, which is why this bass has also undergone a PLEK treatment, ensuring perfectly even frets and a smooth, consistent playing feel across the entire neck. Unique details include the custom laser-etched volume and tone knobs and neckplate, plus a unique CC inlay on the 12th fret. Finished in a stylish Distressed Black colour that has undergone a complex ‘ageing’ process, meaning that, as well as looking the part, the bass plays like a well-played instrument. And the Duesenberg Z-Tuners and Vintage Bass Bridge keep the tuning stable, even during intensive touring! A very sturdy Custom Line gigbag is included, so you can take your instrument on the road without any worries. From the deep grooves of Jane’s Addiction to the power demanded by AC/DC: the Chris Chaney Bass is built to support your role as a bassist time and time again!
