General

The Schecter Hellraiser Extreme-4 LH is a 4-string electric bass guitar for bassists looking for a powerful look and a solid, modern sound. The mahogany body features a Quilted Maple top, whilst the one-piece neck construction, made from multiple layers of maple and walnut, ensures a direct response and plenty of sustain. The ebony fingerboard has 24 X-Jumbo frets and features striking Gothic Cross inlays. The Crimson Red Burst Satin finish and Black Chrome hardware give the instrument a particularly striking visual appearance.

Active EMG pickups

In terms of tone, this Hellraiser is equipped with two active EMG 35TW pickups: one in the bridge position and one in the neck position. This combination is complemented by an active EMG 3-band EQ, allowing you to shape the tone in great detail. Both volume controls feature a push-pull function, giving you extra control over the pickups’ capabilities. This allows you to make the bass sound either tight and defined or powerful and aggressive, depending on your playing style and amplifier settings.

Comfortable neck-through construction

The 34-inch scale length and Thin C neck profile offer a familiar playing feel, whilst the Ultra Access design makes the higher frets easily accessible. The Schecter Custom Bass bridge supports both String Thru and Top Load configurations, giving you some flexibility when fitting the strings. Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning stability. The bass comes as standard with D’Addario Bass Nickel Wound Long Scale NYXL45105 strings (.045–.105). A matching SCSGR-UNIV6 case is available separately.
