The Sire Marcus Miller P8 S4 Tobacco Sunburst is a high-quality 4-string electric bass guitar that combines classic Precision Bass influences with modern technology and Marcus Miller’s expertise. Thanks to its swamp ash body, this bass delivers powerful low-end response, a clear midrange and a dynamic response that lends itself perfectly to a wide range of musical styles. The roasted maple neck with EDGELESS™ rounded fretboard edges ensures a comfortable playing experience, whilst the official Sire gig bag provides immediate, optimal protection during transport and storage.

Versatile electronics and premium playing comfort

The P8 S4 is fitted with the Marcus Super PJ Revolution Set, comprising a Precision-style split single-coil and a Jazz-style single-coil. This configuration delivers both the warm, full-bodied P-bass tone and the clear definition of a J-bass. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp provides a 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and an active/passive switch. This allows you to switch easily between a natural vintage sound and a modern, powerful tone with extensive tone control. The comfortable C-profile neck, 34-inch scale length and 9.5-inch fingerboard radius make this bass suitable for both beginners and advanced bassists.

High-quality finish for years of playing pleasure

The P8 S4 is also generously equipped in terms of hardware. The new Marcus Heavymass II bridge contributes to excellent sustain, stable intonation and solid string response. Premium open-gear tuning machines ensure precise tuning stability, whilst the chrome hardware and ivory-coloured pearloid pickguard stylishly complement the Tobacco Sunburst finish. The bone nut, white pearloid block inlays and the official Sire gig bag round off the package. This means this bass guitar is immediately ready for rehearsals, studio recordings and gigs.
