The Sire Marcus Miller V5.24 A5 Tobacco Sunburst combines the classic look and sound of a vintage J-style bass guitar with modern playability. Thanks to the extended 24-fret fingerboard, you have a wider tonal range than with a traditional jazz bass, making solos, chords and melodic bass lines easier to play. The North American alder body delivers a balanced tone with a clear attack and a warm, full-bodied bass response. Combined with the attractive Tobacco Sunburst finish, the result is an instrument that impresses in terms of both appearance and performance.

Greater range and optimal playing comfort

The bolt-on roasted hard maple neck offers extra stability and a comfortable C-shaped profile. Thanks to the torrefaction process, the wood feels pleasantly broken in and you benefit from a stable construction. The rosewood fingerboard with rounded edge profiles contributes to a smooth playing feel, whilst the 24 medium frets offer ample space for modern playing techniques and higher-register solos.
