Are you looking for a passive J-style 5-string bass guitar? Then this Marcus Miller V5 from Sire gives you exceptional value for money. Apart from the classic look and sound, this is an electric bass that plays a lot more comfortably than many basses from the same segment. The natural-feeling C-neck has a fingerboard with a more modern radius and the sides are also pleasantly rounded. In addition, the single-coil pickups give you an amplified quality sound you won't easily encounter on these bass guitars of a similar price. With the familiar electronics layout, you can easily bring out all the classic bass sounds. This is the 5-string variant with a standard B string for that useful extra 5 half notes in low register.
