In terms of sound, this is a serious work bass. The Aguilar AG4M pickups provide a powerful, defined base, while the Aguilar OBP-3 preamp gives you plenty of control over your tone. With the treble, mid and bass controls (boost/cut), you can easily put the bass at the front of the mix or just a bit rounder and more supportive. And do you prefer direct and pure? Then simply switch off the preamp via the bypass.

The construction is also clearly focused on playing comfort and resonance. The body is alder, with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and the VSS frame is made of resin and alder wood. The ergonomic neck-body transition is designed to improve vibration transfer and give your left hand more space. This bass is made in Japan and comes with a VOX Custom Bass Gig Bag.
