Developed in collaboration with James Hetfield, this signature string set is tailored specifically to his aggressive playing style. The result is a thicker sound, more stability and a string feel that remains reliable even when you play hard or tune low.

James Hetfield signature strings

The set has James' favourite .011-.050 thickness, providing extra body in the low end and bright attack in the high end. Thanks to the thicker paradigm core and plasma-reinforced nickel winding, these strings not only sound heavier, but also stay in tune longer. The wound strings of the 2201 James Hetfield Signature set are wound around an extremely strong steel core and the plain strings are extra reinforced at the ball end for maximum service life. Perfect for rock, metal and anyone who loves a powerful, tight guitar sound!
