General
The Alexi Black is a striking electric guitar for guitarists who want to combine an uncompromising metal look with a direct, powerful response. The V-shaped alder body, hard maple neck and neck-through construction provide a solid foundation with plenty of sustain. The ebony fingerboard features 24 frets, the top five of which are scalloped. This makes playing fast solos and bends in the higher positions particularly comfortable. The black satin finish, pinstripe and distinctive sawtooth inlays make the guitar instantly recognisable.
Alexi Black: Built for speed
In terms of tone, this guitar is fitted with an EMG FH2 humbucker, which delivers a powerful and tight sound that holds up well even at heavy high-gain settings. The Floyd Rose FRT-2000 tremolo is ideal for expressive dives and extreme tremolo effects, whilst the GOTOH SG360-07 tuning machines and lock nut ensure stable tuning. Thanks to the MM-04 on/off switch, control remains simple and direct. This makes the Alexi Black ideal for aggressive riffs, fast lead passages and technical metal playing.
