Wasn't really looking to get another Telecaster style guitar but saw a few reviews of this raving about the P90 at the neck and I am a big fan of roasted maple necks. I picked this up for 93 quid plus shipping and out of the box the neck relief and intonation were spot on Took the action down a little bit (but perfectly playable as was) and , "bang for buck" this is a truly amazing guitar which puts some of the other ones I own, and have paid significantly more money for,to shame.

Na wat werk een uitstekende gitaar.
Ik moest wel een vulplaat met een hoek van 0,25mm onder de hals doen om de actie goed af te kunnen stellen.
Anders had ik er een andere brug op moeten monteren met lagere zadels, want deze zadels kun je niet zomaar lager zetten dan staan ze er onder een hoek in en gaan ze zweven en trillen de schroefjes eruit.
Dus ik snap wel dat de vorige koper de gitaar teruggestuurd had, ikzelf maak en repareer gitaren dus ik kon het makkelijk oplossen, ook heb ik de P90 eruit gehaald want die klonk gewoon niet goed, ik heb een nieuwe slagplaat gemaakt en er een hotte strat single coil in de neck gezet. De stemmechanieken zijn ook niet bijzonder goed maar doen wel wat ze moeten doen. Frets moesten ook even gepolijst worden want die waren redelijk aangetast, ik denk dat de vorige eigenaar nogal zure handen had want de frets zagen er niet uit, nu glimmen ze weer als een spiegel.

De hals en de body zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit, dus wat dat betreft alleen al is de gitaar zijn geld dubbel en dwars waard, hals is mooi recht en roasted, en de body van mooie kwaliteit hout en lekker zwaar.

Ik heb nog een hotte (9,7k) bridge pickup besteld en een frequentie bandfilter/booster zodat ik met 1 schakelaar overhalen kan overschakelen naar een humbucker achtig geluid, plaats ik er nog een dummy coil in om de storing eruit te filteren en dan is ie klaar, klinkt nu al erg goed, maar wordt dus nog beter.

Ben dik tevreden, let wel op dat als je deze gitaar als beginneling koopt dat je hem wel af zult moeten laten stellen in een gitaarwinkel als je dat zelf niet kan. Anders speelt ie nogal zwaar.
