Fazley Sunset Series Tempest 90 Surf Green electric guitar starter kit

Really like the colour, has a great look. The weight is good and the roasted maple neck has a nice satin feel. In my one the bridge was slighly off centre but not horrendous for the price i paid. Would have been annoyed if i had paid full rrp. On my one the frets were pretty sharp all the way down and needed a good polish. The setup was okay, nut cut really well and everything else set high to allow to adjust to taste. Pickups a bit meh, don't notice much of a difference between the p90 and the single coil to be honest. Both sound okay but that's about it. It plays nice, and looks nice and would be happy if someone bought me something like this for my first guitar! It's my 5th so a nice little moding base to stick some better pickups in.

Really great price for an essential little gadget. Works for any string instrument.

Bought this guitar in June 2025, ordered on a Thursday afternoon and arrived the following Tuesday morning.
Right from opening the box, this guitar was lovely, great looking, great finish , plays well and sounds great.
I’m very happy with my purchase. This guitar may be low in price but it’s not low in quality. Superb value for money.

Overall very pleased with my new guitar and accessories, I'm new to all this so it's my my first electric guitar, it seems very well made and the finish is flawless, everything works as it should, I looked around a few other sites first but this seemed to be excellent value for money, the specification was better than the others for the price, it even came with a basic gig bag, so far I'm enjoying it very much, so well done and keep on giving great value for money well made products.

Really, really pleased with this beautiful tele. Looks a million dollars, and sounds surprisingly good! I may change the pickups eventually but they are more than decent. The neck is gorgeous, and is a joy to play. All I did to it was polish the frets (gritty frets are par for the course at this price range), lower the action a little and change the strings. I now have a stunning looking, beautiful playing and nice sounding guitar. I can't stop playing it!

Guitar arrived double boxed with a slight indent in the outer packing but the inner was not damaged. This was more than likely due to transit and being "bumped" about in vans etc. so no star taken off. The outer box had more than enough packaging to protect the guitar, "gig bag", cable and a getting started brochure.
The bag is enough to protect the guitar if you are off to a tutor or putting in the car. Yes it is not really padded as a to of the range one would be but a lot better than a plastic dust cover! The cable is a budget one but for me, so far it works and doesn't produce any hiss or interference.
The guitar itself is exactly as pictured on the website and arrived in almost perfect condition except for a small ding on the headstock. Nothing to complain about after reading reviews from customers of other music shops so again no stars deducted. The strings of course were not tuned and I cam not understand anyone wondering why this is. All strings need stretching and any guitar bought from anywhere in the world (even the most expensive Fenders, Gibson's et al come with untuned strings).
Action looks good although I may adjust the neck (with included allen key) just to bring it down a fraction.

(I may sound like I know what I am saying but this is the only guitar I have owned and still learning the E and Em chords. I have though, spent 6 weeks looking at how to play and product video reviews)

Tuning at the 12th fret shows all strings bar one were in tune, just the A string is slightly out but I would never hear the difference anyway!

If you are thinking of buying one of the Sunset guitars I would say yes go for it. I know it is classed as a "budget" guitar but for a beginner It does everything it should do. If all of the Fazley guitars are like this then they are certainly worth buying.

Sent me a guitar with a broken neck, neck pocket looked appuling, no damage to box so i assume its down to no quality control. This is the second time ive ordered without success fair warning. It annoys me that i have to print off a label and take it to a local collection point, when no qc was carried out....useless baxtards?
