Like a hot-rodded axe beamed in from the '80s, the JET Guitars JS-700 Copper electric guitar brings all the shameless swagger and big, elastic sound from the decade that gave the world hair metal. Here, Jet Guitars has planted an Alnico V humbucker at the bridge and a special J-Rail pickup at the neck, completing a broad sonic spectrum that can be dialled in to back up solid riffs as well as brutal, face-melting solos. Add on the high-grade Wilkinson double-locking tremolo bridge and Wilkinson Locking R2 nut, and you have a model that can easily take on colossal dive-bombs without dropping tune.

The Jet Guitars JS-700: Fast Playability

The playability of this six-string is just as on point as the look and sound. The Canadian maple neck has been roasted to remove excess moisture from the wood and increase density to give both the stability and the tonal resonance a massive boost. This process also gives the wood a darker tint, polishing off the overall look. The rosewood fretboard, meanwhile, has a classic 9.5 inch radius, supporting a fast and familiar feel under the fret-hand and, to fully confirm the no-nonsense vibe of this guitar, the control section has been stripped right back to a single volume pot and three-way pickup switch.
