Stripping things right back to the essentials, the no-nonsense Jet Guitars JS-700 brings the throwback '80s style of an ST body shape, a single passive J-87 Alnico V humbucker, a single volume pot and a two-way pickup switch. Flip the switch to spit either the fat, dual-coil sound demanded by thick riff and lead work or to split the coils down the middle and unleash classic and sparkling single-coil sound. So it can support extreme dive-bombing without dropping tune, this six-string comes loaded with a super-stable Wilkinson double-locking tremolo bridge.

Under the high-gloss red paint-job, the solid basswood body lays down a full sonic foundation framed by a light mid-range accent to balanced things out. The Canadian maple neck has even been roasted to remove excess moisture, increasing the density of the wood and boosting the resonance while reducing the chance of warping. The neck has then been finished with a comfy modern C-profile and a buttery-smooth satin gloss lacquer while the fretboard has a classic 9.5 inch radius, supporting a snug and fast feel all the way up the neck. And to polish things off, a full set of locking tuners and a locking nut guarantee stable tuning and intonation and even speed up the restringing process.
