General
The Schecter C-1 FR S Pale Moon is a modern electric guitar designed for guitarists seeking maximum playability and a striking appearance. The body is crafted from Swamp Ash and features a striking Pale Moon Ebony top. The Natural Satin with Black Burst finish really brings out the contrasting wood grain and gives each guitar a unique character. The seven-layer neck, made from maple, walnut and padauk, extends through the body and is fitted with Schecter’s Ultra Access heel. Combined with the Ultra Thin C-profile, this provides a fast and comfortable foundation for a wide range of playing styles.
Fast playability and plenty of sustain
The Richlite fretboard has a 12 to 16-inch compound radius and is fitted with 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets. As a result, the C-1 FR S Pale Moon combines a comfortable position for chords with a flatter playing surface that works well for bends and fast solos. The 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale length provides a familiar playing feel and firm string tension. The nut is 41.3 mm wide and features a Floyd Rose locking nut. Thanks to the neck-through construction and Ultra Access heel, the entire fretboard remains easily accessible, whilst the through-body neck also contributes to a direct response and long sustain.
Brimstone-6 and Sustainiac
The electronics consist of a Schecter Brimstone-6 in the bridge position and a Sustainiac in the neck position. The Brimstone-6 delivers a powerful, defined tone that really comes into its own with heavy riffs and modern rock and metal parts. With the Sustainiac, you can make notes ring out for an exceptionally long time and create expressive harmonics. The controls consist of volume, tone, a 3-way pickup selector and two Sustainiac mini-switches. A Floyd Rose 1500 locking tremolo and TonePros M-Series locking tuners provide a reliable foundation for intensive tremolo use. The SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
