Product information

General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR S is an electric guitar with a distinctly dark look and a comprehensive range of features. The mahogany body is combined with a maple neck featuring a glued-in construction and Ultra Access, plus a rosewood fingerboard. Thanks to the Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets, this guitar plays comfortably and with a direct feel. The 25.5-inch scale length and 41.3 mm nut width are familiar specifications for a modern electric guitar. The Satin Black finish is complemented by Satin Chrome hardware and the distinctive dark styling of the Damien Platinum series.

EMG 81 and Sustainiac

For a powerful and versatile sound, the Damien Platinum-6 FR S is fitted with an active EMG 81 in the bridge position and a Sustainiac pickup in the neck position. The special Sustainiac circuitry allows you to choose between Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic modes, putting long-lasting sustain and striking harmonic tones at your fingertips. The 3-way pickup selector switch lets you choose from the available pickup configurations. In addition, the guitar features volume and tone controls, an on/off switch for the Sustainiac and a separate 3-way mode selector.

Floyd Rose Special tremolo

The Floyd Rose Special bridge enables powerful vibrato effects and precise pitch bends, whilst the Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning. The guitar is fitted with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings in gauges .010–.046. The satin black finish, Satin Chrome hardware and distinctive styling ensure a striking appearance on stage. The model number for this version is 1189. An SCSGR-1C case is a suitable protective solution, but according to the product specifications, it is sold separately and is therefore not included.
