General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR S LH is an electric guitar for left-handed guitarists who love a distinctive look and powerful sounds. The mahogany body features a Satin Black finish, complemented by Satin Chrome hardware and striking details such as the distinctive bat inlays. The glued maple neck with Ultra Access construction and the rosewood fingerboard ensure a comfortable playing experience. With 24 X-Jumbo frets and a Thin C neck profile, the guitar feels familiar, whilst the 25.5-inch scale length offers plenty of room for both tight rhythm work and solo playing.

EMG 81 and Sustainiac

For the electronics, Schecter has opted for an EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position and a Sustainiac in the neck position. This not only delivers a powerful, defined tone, but also offers extensive possibilities for sustain and feedback-like effects. The controls consist of volume, tone, a 3-way pickup selector switch, a 2-way on/off switch for the Sustainiac and a 3-way Sustainiac mode switch for Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic. This allows you to easily adapt the sustain characteristics to your playing style. The combination is particularly well-suited to heavy rock and metal parts, but also offers scope for creative lead parts.

Floyd Rose Special tremolo

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR S LH is fitted with a Floyd Rose Special tremolo, allowing you to perform expressive vibrato effects and extreme pitch bends. The Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning control, whilst the Satin Chrome hardware contrasts beautifully with the black finish. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings in a .010–.046 set. According to the manufacturer, a matching SCSGR-1C case is available separately. With model number 1190, this is the left-handed version of the Damien Platinum-6 FR S FR S, designed for guitarists looking for a versatile, dark-sounding metal guitar with active electronics and Sustainiac.
