General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR is a striking electric guitar for guitarists who love a powerful look and a bold, modern sound. The Satin Black finish is combined with Satin Chrome hardware, a dark fingerboard and distinctive details from the Damien Platinum series. The mahogany body and set maple neck with Ultra Access provide a solid foundation and comfortable access to the higher frets. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, a Thin C neck profile and a 25.5-inch scale length, this Schecter is designed for comfortable and fast playing.

Active EMG pickups

For a powerful and defined tone, the Damien Platinum-6 FR is fitted with an active EMG 81 in the bridge position and an active EMG 85 at the neck. This makes the guitar particularly well-suited to heavy music styles, including metal and rock. The controls consist of a volume and tone control and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The combination of the active pickups with the mahogany body provides a powerful foundation that really comes into its own at high gain. The D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings (.010–.046) are immediately suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

Floyd Rose Special

The Floyd Rose Special bridge allows you to create expressive tremolo effects whilst maintaining stable tuning. The Grover tuners and Satin Chrome hardware complement the rest of the guitar beautifully. The 41.3 mm wide nut and the Thin C neck profile contribute to a comfortable playing experience. The Damien Platinum-6 FR is supplied as a complete electric guitar; the matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately. Thanks to the combination of active EMG pickups, a Floyd Rose Special and the 24 X-Jumbo frets, this is a versatile instrument for modern guitarists.
