General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR LH is a striking left-handed electric guitar from the Damien Platinum series. The Satin Black finish, Satin Chrome hardware, silver/platinum multi-layer binding and distinctive Platinum Bats inlays give this guitar a striking appearance. The body is made of mahogany and features a arched top. The glued three-piece maple neck features Ultra Access, making even the higher frets easily accessible. With a 25.5-inch scale length, Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets, this guitar is suitable for both heavy riffs and technical guitar playing.

Active EMG pickups

For a powerful and direct tone, the Damien Platinum-6 FR LH is fitted with an active EMG 81 in the bridge position and an active EMG 85 in the neck position. The EMG 81 is renowned for its tight, aggressive character and is ideal for powerful rhythm parts and high-gain applications. The EMG 85 delivers a fuller and warmer sound from the neck position. With the volume and tone controls and the 3-way switch, you can easily switch between the different sound options. The active electronics are powered by a 9V battery via the built-in clip-in battery compartment.

Floyd Rose Special

The Floyd Rose Special bridge makes this Damien Platinum-6 FR LH particularly suitable for players who enjoy using the tremolo. The double-locking construction helps maintain stable tuning during heavy bends and extreme tremolo effects. The Grover tuners also ensure precise tuning. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings (.010–.046), so you can get started straight away. Please note: a suitable guitar case is not included, but is available separately. The recommended compatible case is the Schecter SCSGR-UNIV1.
