General

The Schecter DJ Ashba is the signature model of guitarist DJ Ashba, known for his work with Sixx.M., Guns N’ Roses and as a songwriter for Mötley Crüe. This electric guitar combines an alder body with a flamed maple top and a bolt-on maple neck. The ebony fingerboard, Thin C neck profile and 22 X-Jumbo frets are designed for comfortable and fast playing. The 25.5-inch scale length and 41.3 mm nut width offer a familiar feel for electric guitar playing. The Natural Black Burst finish, combined with its custom look, makes this DJ Ashba a striking signature instrument.

EMG 81 and Sustainiac

When it comes to electronics, the DJ Ashba has everything you need for powerful riffs and distinctive solos. The bridge position features an EMG 81 active humbucker, renowned for its tight, aggressive tone and high output. The neck position features a Sustainiac pickup that allows notes to sustain for a very long time. Using the separate Sustainiac switches, you can switch the system on and off and choose between Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic. The controls also include a volume control and a 3-way pickup selector switch. This allows you to quickly access the various tone options whilst playing.

Floyd Rose 1500 Series

For expressive tremolo playing, the Schecter DJ Ashba is fitted with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo system and a matching locking nut. This allows you to perform extreme tremolo effects and dive bombs without sacrificing playability. The Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners ensure precise tuning, whilst the black hardware contrasts beautifully with the Natural Black Burst finish. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings, as per the product specification provided. The SCSGR-1C case is not included and is sold separately. The official Schecter specifications for this model include, amongst other things, a Flamed Maple top, a 14-inch fingerboard radius and South Korean manufacture.
