With the Solo-II SLS Elite Evil Twin, Schecter unleash a wing-bodied machine perfected by a three-piece neck shot through two blocks of swamp ash. This stunningly finished offering bears all the vintage class of an LP-style single-cut and the absurd stability of modern build techniques. Mounted with a set of state-of-the-art Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, finished with a compound fretboard radius that gradually flattens out the closer you get to the body, this model plays and sounds like a dream and sounds even better. Leads are supported by a fluid and nimble feel, while rhythms feel snug and controlled. Meanwhile a TonePros T3BT Tune-O-Matic bridge fully firms up the tuning and completes the tasty vintage-flavoured look.

Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers: A Ceramic & Alnico Dream-Team

A ceramic humbucker has been planted at the bridge to deliver the satisfying, snarling tone demanded by thick and brutal riff work, and an Alnico humbucker at the neck shapes the familiar warmth and fullness needed to voice leads and cleans as well as creamy Blues. The combo is enormously versatile and retains excellent mix-punching presence. Finished with details like a set of Roman numeral position markers and a matte-black paint job, the Elite Evil Twin breathes no-nonsense elegance and uncompromising character.
