General

The Sterling by Music Man Majesty has undergone a major quality upgrade with this MAJ200! For instance, this version now features an ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets. In combination with the flat 16-inch fingerboard radius and the narrow 42-millimetre nut width, this results in high playing comfort. Of course, the eye wants something too. That's why the streamlined nyatoh body features a tasteful spalted maple top. The Sterling by Music MAJ200XSM comes complete with a luxury gig bag.

MAJ200XSM with DiMarzio pickups

Unlike the predecessors of this model, this Majesty has a set of DiMarzio humbuckers on board. The Crunch Lab and LiquiFire are the elements that John Petrucci himself also has in some of his guitars, so then you know that in terms of sound, it's all right. Nice bonus is that the volume knob also acts as a push/push switch that gives you a boost of 12 decibels. This is handy for when you want to get through the mix well during a solo, for example. Of course, the practical locking tuning machines are not to be missed either.
