With the StingRay SR50, Sterling by Music Man serve up a powerhouse of an electric guitar complete with slick playability and the added style and stability of an improved roasted maple neck and fretboard. This forward-thinking upgrade has been combined with a set of twenty-two medium frets and a modern 12 inch fretboard radius to guarantee light and easy playability, while the oversized headstock has been finished with locking machine heads, giving this model its solid and fully up-to-date tuning stability.

The Sterling by Music Man StingRay SR50: Full Sound

Since it first dropped from the aether in the '70s, the StingRay has retained all of its vintage styling and, because this is a more recent reissue, the sound has a more modern and defined edge to it. This is partly thanks to the resonance of the solid poplar body, which has been given a snug and ergonomic, lightly offset shape before being mounted with a pair of Music Man designed passive humbuckers. This sonic team delivers powerful tone that can be dialled in to support virtually any genre. Simply flip the three-way pickup switch and tweak the volume and tone pots to taste.
