Two Alnico V P90s for Five Sounds Doubled Via the Focus Switch

The Japanese master-builders at Yamaha have loaded this Revstar Professional with two Alnico V P90-type single-coil pickups for a range of sounds that cut back on humbucker-style thickness and pack more bite than single-coil sound. Besides three standard flavours, the 5-way pickup switch serves up two extra, out-of-phase sounds when kicked into the second or fourth position, and to finish, the RSP02T comes with a special tone pot outfitted with a push/pull function that activates the Focus switch. Engage the switch, and the highs in your sound will darken while the mids and lows are given a light, passive boost.
