The RSP02T features a body that's not only been reinforced with carbon strips at two points but has been chambered with maximum accuracy via Yamaha's Acoustic Design process. The result is an extra-lightweight, optimally-balanced electric guitar that's able to shape a more energetically-projected foundation sound, and so you can keep it safe in storage and traffic, Yamaha even include a matching hardshell case.

The Revstar Professional RSP02T: Ultimate Stability, Exceptional Durability and Familiarly Comfortable

Made of three pieces of mahogany and reinforced with two carbon rods, the ultra-stable neck comes topped with a 12"-radiussed rosewood fretboard lined with durable, stainless steel frets. These specs, combined with the stable Tune-o-Matic bridge, a supremely cool Racing Tailpiece and a 41.9mm nut treat you to that tried-and-trusty playing feel.

Two Alnico V P90s for Five Sounds Doubled Via the Focus Switch

The Japanese master-builders at Yamaha have loaded this Revstar Professional with two Alnico V P90-type single-coil pickups for a range of sounds that cut back on humbucker-style thickness and pack more bite than single-coil sound. Besides three standard flavours, the 5-way pickup switch serves up two extra, out-of-phase sounds when kicked into the second or fourth position, and to finish, the RSP02T comes with a special tone pot outfitted with a push/pull function that activates the Focus switch. Engage the switch, and the highs in your sound will darken while the mids and lows are given a light, passive boost.
