The intelligent Yamaha NTX1 has been designed for the contemporary classical guitarist. The resonance chamber of the NTX model has been topped with solid spruce to pull definition out of every note and chord while maintaining the classic warmth of a Spanish guitar. The Yamaha NTX1: Clear Live Sound + Accurate Control

To ensure clear and warm amplified sound in any situation, Yamaha has kitted out the NTX1 with a progressive undersaddle piezo pickup that's able to capture every tonal nuance of every note and chord with tightness and precision. All of this is sent through the built-in SYSTEM73 preamp, which doesn't just hand performing guitarists control over the volume, but three-band EQ controls and an extra mid-frequency knob for dialling in the specifics and ensuring that your stage sound is treated to excellent definition, no matter what kind of PA system you're working with.

Wrote the following about Yamaha NTX1 Black Electro-Acoustic Classical Guitar

Well made and well finished guitar. For many years I’ve had a similar Yamaha steel string version AP7A so now a matching pair with oval sound holes. It is a pretty guitar. The sound is good unplugged but probably better plugged in. Good close action so easy to play. The nut width is between classical norm and steel string acoustic/electric norm. 48mm from memory. I did try another brand with a 43mm nut width but found that more difficult to play (surprisingly) before I realised of course the higher two strings on a nylon stringed guitar are thicker than on a steel string.

La prise en main est agréable, la NTX1 est légère et d'un petit gabarit.
Son manche est confortable et accessible sur toute sa longueur grâce au pan coupé.
Plus proche d'un manche de guitare électrique que du manche de guitare classique habituel.
On la prend très vite en main.
La finition est plutôt de très bonne qualité je trouve.
Elle a une belle projection sonore et un joli timbre. Un peu passe partout mais finalement pour moi c'est plutôt une qualité qui lui permet de jouer pas mal de styles. Je recommande cette guitare a tout guitariste qui cherche un bon rapport qualité prix.
