General

Featuring a parlor body made from solid wood and loaded with a passive piezo pickup, the Yamaha CSF3M shapes sweeping yet resonant sound. This slightly smaller than standard electro-acoustic guitar owes its rich-and-woody sound to a solid spruce soundboard supported by a solid mahogany back and sides, while the relatively short 23.6-inch scale length and lower string tension are a recipe for a smoother playing feel than similarly-sized all-solid models offer.

The CSF3M: Balanced Amplified Sound

Already used to the feel of a standard steel-string? No worries, the 43mm nut that Yamaha has installed gives you the same familiar feel. Meanwhile, the passive SRT piezo pickup system can be connected to an amplifier or DI box for well-balanced electro-acoustic sound. Definitely an ideal travel guitar, the Yamaha CSF3M welcomely includes a deluxe gig bag.
