General

Functionality is what defines the Yamaha SL-G200S Silent Guitar. Thanks to a removable side, this model is much lighter and slimmer than a standard steel-string guitar and, in addition, has an all-solid design to make it superiorly durable. What's more, the GLS200S comes including a deluxe carrying bag so it can safely taken anywhere. Plug in a pair of headphones to practice in silence, or jack the guitar into an amp to get naturally amplified tone shaped by an SRT Powered System and a piezo pickup. No matter how you prefer to play and practice, you can start doing so right away since batteries and stereo earphones comes included. You're never going to be without music again.

The SL-G200S: Comfortably Portable

As you can tell by the contours of the Silent Guitar, Yamaha have taken a traditionally designed guitar as the starting point. The guitar rests comfortably on the leg and offers the natural support, feel and grip of a traditional guitar while you play. A strap can be easily attached to the fitted strap buttons and thanks to the welcome addition of a highly accurate built-in tuner, you'll never have to worry about forgetting your tuning device again. If you spend a lot of time on the road, the Yamaha SLG200S Silent Guitar is without doubt a brilliantly practical and equally dependable side-kick.

The SRT Powered System

Loaded with an SRT Powered System, the Yamaha SLG200S is designed to emulate the sound and resonance of a traditional acoustic guitar and expand its potential. It's loaded with three effects, two reverbs and a chorus, so you can add an extra dimension to the tone. To warm up, you can plug a playback device into the line input and play along with your favourite tunes. Once you're ready to get creative, you can use the line out to hook up your amp.

Leuk hebbeding!
Oogt zeer mooi, is superlicht en kwalitatief goed gebouwd. Wordt geleverd met bijhorende draagtas.
De gitaar voelt stevig, net als een gewone westerngitaar
De arm ligt verbluffend goed alsook de tonaliteit bij het aanslaan van de snaren blijft helder, geen gekets of bijgeluiden te merken wanneer je silent speelt.
De ingebouwde tuner vind ik zeker een plus, geen gedoe met kabels etc..
Ingeplugd doet deze Yamaha het alvast niet slecht, de ingebouwde effecten (Flat, Reverb of Chorus) doen wat ze beloven maar wie zoekt naar een echtere akoustische klank zal best zelf wat effecten toevoegen.
