The Yamaha DTX562K is one of the top drum kits from the DTX502 series. The drum pads, consisting of a snare and 3 toms, are fashioned from deluxe Textured Cellular Silicone material. Thanks to the extraordinary silence of TCS, Yamaha won the coveted Quiet Mark award for developing it. It plays remarkably well, and with an incredibly realistic response. The DTX526K is also noteworthy due to its real acoustic hi-hat stand.
Drum pads, cymbal pads and drum rack
The DTX562K digital drum set is comprised of a kick pad, the XP80 snare, three XP70 toms, two cymbal pads and a hi-hat pad. The different cymbals each have multiple touch-sensitive zones for varied expression. You can quickly and easily mount your pads on the RS502 drum rack, which is simple to set up and take down with the additional plus of being extra sturdy, thanks to its revamped design. All in all, this drum set is an excellent choice for the demanding drummer who values quality and affordability.
De DTX502 sound module
The included DTX502 sound module is of course essential! It produces a total of 691 drum sounds, divided amongst various acoustic (from rock to jazz) and electronic drum sets. The module features 32-voice polyphony, a digital effects processor, a number of useful training programs, a headphone output and a USB port. The latter makes it really easy to sent MIDI information to your computer for editing and sharing.
